Being invited to speak for a Hioki webinar on lithium-ion battery technologies was an honor and joy!

The Hioki USA team was seeking a battery expert to link challenges in battery R+D with Hioki’s cutting-edge analytical equipment. For the talk, I focused on sharing the growth in the battery industry, challenges in the battery industry, and sustainability of the battery lifecycle.

Participants loved my interactive “simulation” portion of the presentation where they each became VP of Engineering of Pestana Enterprises and were tasked with solving technical problems. It was a fun way for them to think through real-world challenges in battery materials selection for different applications, and made their learning more memorable.
